'Star Wars: The Clone Wars'
Rating: PG for sci-fi action violence throughout, brief language and momentary smoking.
What it's about: It's those mythical “clone wars” in the middle of the “Star Wars” series.
The kid attractor factor: A well-animated installment in the “Star Wars” series, with lots of action and a sassy teen girl.
Good lessons/bad lessons: “Old sins cast long shadows,” and “sometimes, a good defense is a good offense.”
Violence: Quite a bit, impersonal, animated, but still an astronomical body count.
Language: A few moments of profanity.
Sex: Exotic dancers, a scantily attired “youngling.”
Drugs: “Momentary smoking” in a galaxy “far, far away.”
Parents' advisory: If your kids are old enough to have seen the other movies or earlier “Clone Wars” TV series, they can handle it.
