Bouncing down Baja on a 7-day, high-speed tripis a thrill for the driven

AJA PENINSULA, Mexico – Ever wanted to jump a 2,300-pound car at 70 mph? I never thought I would have the chance, but it came while racing across the Mexican desert driving a customized vehicle with a 2.6-liter, fuel-injected Porsche engine.

    A Grand old time

    The “Somewhere in Time” weekend, Oct. 27-29, is a fall tradition at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island in Michigan. Festivities include showings of the 1980 movie staring Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour. Cast and crew often join guests.
